5.1. Methodological overview

The learning process that has been designed for this subject is based on the following:

The combination of theoretical classes in big group, practical classes in small groups, an individual or group project and special attention will be paid to personal study.

5.2. Learning tasks

The program offered to students to help them achieve the expected results involves the following activities:

1: on-site theoretical classes in the big group (50 hours) (learning outcome result 1, 2, 3) Explanation and orientation for the personal study of the different contents of the subject, aiming at the acquisition of competences and learning results.

2: theoretical-practical on-site seminars in groups (37.5 hours) (learning outcome result 4,5)

Training on hypothetical scenario and resolution of problems both individually and in teams, using the theoretical bases of the subject and the communicative exercise.

3: individual work (12, 5 hours) (learning outcome result 4)

It is aimed at the stimulation for the initiative and personal creativity, the use of bibliographical documental sources, the organization of a logical discourse and the searching and achievement of the concluding thesis.

4: Personal study (150 hours) (learning outcome results 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

From the activities indicated, the student must be responsible for the creation of schemes and work programs.

5.4. Course planning and calendar

Schedule of on-site sessions and project presentation

- Theoretical classes in big groups: 3h/week along 30 school weeks.

-Practical classes in small groups organized by the Centre: 2h / week /group (4groups all the year)

Compulsory attendance in to 85% of them.

Handing over of the individual work:  February-May, when the contents of every part are finished. It will be established the days of the presentation and reading at the beginning of the academic year.

Two theoretical tests that eliminate material when February (part I) and May (part II) are finished.

Final theoretical exam of the whole subject (official call placed by the school): June –September, for those students who have not eliminated the contents corresponding to the voluntary mid-term exams or have not taken them.  NO MID TERM MARKS EXAMS ARE kEPT FOR FOLLOWING CALLS (the project mark is maintained during the academic year)
